Featuring a gigantic 5.1” Hexatech external voice coil (hexagonal-shaped aluminum wire), the MW1258 was created for accurate music reproduction, superior durability, and high power handling. A highly efficient double magnet ferrite motor maximizes the magnetic field to apply as much force to the coil as possible.

The cone is a unique hybrid of carbon fiber composite laminated on paper to achieve an impressive mix of rigidity and damping for extraordinary musicality. Holding everything together is a solid stamped steel frame that provides extensive venting for the coil (under spider and pole piece venting) for minimal compression and quiet operation.

The MW1258 is optimized to deliver powerful low frequencies when used in small enclosures. This driver is suitable for use in both hi-end home and car audio systems.
